People need jobs but want less government intervention

Let's face it the job market it's really getting any better, yet you hear the call for government to help spur the job market.  The fact is that other than openings to fill specific positions the government really can't just hire extra people.  But what the government can do is affect the tarriff laws that make it harder for importing countries to dump product here in ther US while holding a high tarriff policy for US goods entering their harbors.

The American worker is resiliant but still needs to be playing on a level playing field.  The other way to help jump start our work force is to trash the current tax codes and rewrite the laws to reflect a fair way of taxing so everybody pays their fair share and not just the working families of this country.

Like it or not federal funds will be needed after Irene

Let's see how congress reacts to Irene after congress in back in session.  The fact is major assets may be needed to restore basics like power and water to the hard hit areas.  The question is whether or not there will be fights in congress over what is spent and for which project?

The good news is federal agencies are already in place to take immediate action in the wake of Irene's destruction.

It's time for another run for the Lombadi trophy

With most of the pieces in place from last year it's time to put on the pads and take on the competition.  Looking around the league there are several formidable opponents this year including New Orleans, Detroit, posibbly the Cowboys and Philly.  No game is easy in the NFL anymore and being Super bowl winners makes it even harder because all your opponents want to beat you real bad.

The key question this year will probably be the defensive line.  And as last year success depends upon protecting A-Rod.  The fans are ready the teams are ready so let's crank it up and play football!!!!

Stop messing around and just level the place

Why are we in the Middle east anyway?  The simple truth is OIL!!  So instead of sending our young people into harms way and expecting anything different than what has gone on for thousands of years is ridiculous!

I say we just level the whole middle east and rid ourselves of people who have no regard for human life and fight over a religion that seems to be pretty violence oriented.  Any religion that promises you 72 virgins and treats their own women like dogs has to be really screwed up.

The alternative choice for working Americans

Let's face it in the the American worker doesn't mean anything to most politicians.  Regardless of party or affiliation they all make pie in the sky promises during election time and then BAME nothing changes.  This talk about the tea party is nonsense.  They are no different than the Repulicans and Democrats we have been voting on for years.

The changes we need as Americans go right to the core of this country founding principles.  And until our voices are heard loud and clear instead of the voices of big business and special interest groups nothing will ever happen.

Our forefathers were very prudent men and in creating the constitution of the United staes they got lots of thing right.  The problem is they could not foresee the advancement of business into mega-corporations whielding tremendous power both in the business and political world.  And let's face it their interestes are much different than yours and mine.  We need people to represent us and not them, someone who feels what we feel.  The average millionaire is the person who is running for state and national office, so how in the world can we count on them to do the right thing.  Please join me in forming a cohesive party made up of average Americans who all feel the same need to address the problems in the work-a-day world.
